by Michael Wells I just got home a few minutes ago and thought I would write a little about Brady condition and how he’s doing. Well, he’s beginning to react to the 11 days of chemotherapy. While he had a wonderful day it was interspersed with numerous rounds of vomiting. His temperature continues to be under control as well as his blood pressure it’s just the damn reaction to the chemo which is causing him problems. I think his situation is a bit exaggerated because he is teething. Sherrie’s Mom & Dad stayed with Brady for a few hours this afternoon which allowed Sherrie and me to take a much needed break together. I cannot wait until we get back home, we’re hoping for early January. It will only be for a week but I can’t wait. Other than the vomiting we are all doing well and so, until next time – pray, hug and keep thinking the good thoughts for Brady – Good night…“8 Years Later—Still No Cure for Pediatric Cancer” is a series of posts revisiting the journal kept by Sherrie and Michael Wells during the cancer diagnosis and treatment of their son, Brady Michael. Hopefully these entires will provide an understanding of the journey families face when dealing with these horrific diseases and of the important work the Hugs for Brady Foundation does.
