Brady Buggy® Wagons. I’ve seen childrens’ faces light up as they ride up and down the hospital hallways. I’ve seen parents look relieved as they don’t have to worry about their child’s IV getting tangled. I can’t imagine our hospital without these wagons because they are just so perfect for this setting!

Recently, I made a trip to the RWJ pediatric emergency room with my 11 year old son. Everything was fine. Upon discharge, for being so brave and a good sport during the testing, he was given a game. It was donated by Hugs For Brady. When we talk about our experience that night he doesn’t talk about the testing he talks about the awesome game he received. I just wanted to thank you and Hugs For Brady and let you how happy he was when we left after a long day.
Every time we would stay at the hospital, when we were coming in with a lot of luggage and everything, Avery would come into the hallway he would say, “Mommy I want that color buggy or I want this buggy today…”
…These foundations are having the children and families best interests at heart and trying to offer some degree of comfort. When you see the Hugs for Brady wagon you know it made her feel that much happier for that moment. I’m all for it.
In October of 2014, we helped raise funds to remodel The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital Pediatric Oncology Playroom & Sunshine Room. When we come there is enough space for everybody to be in here. Like there could be someone else painting and we can be playing a game on the table. It gives you more hope and makes you happier to be at the hospital even though you don’t want to be here.
