Murray D. Becker M.D., Ph.D.
Murray D. Becker M.D., Ph.D., President of University Radiology, is a nuclear medicine radiologist who is board certified in both Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Becker received his A.B. degree from the University of Chicago, and his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Cornell University Medical College. Dr. Becker completed his medical internship at Lenox Hill Hospital, and both a diagnostic radiology residency and a nuclear medicine fellowship at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Becker is a Clinical Associate Professor of Diagnostic Radiology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and he is also on the Medical Board of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Dr. Becker serves as an Assistant Editor for Nuclear Medicine for RadioGraphics. He also is a member of the RSNA Nuclear Medicine Educational Committee and serves as the organizer for the “Nuclear Medicine Case of the Day” for the RSNA Annual Meeting. Dr. Becker is a member of the ACR Nuclear Medicine Commission and he is actively part of the ACR Accreditation Committee for Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT. He served as a content developer for the nuclear medicine section of the ACR Image Wisely Program.
